Sometimes it is just good to see Bono.
This is from May 9, 2005 when the Kingdaddy and I traveled to Chicago for a U2 show. The same U2 show that was put on film for the DVD of that tour! As we were scouting out a place for lunch we happened to run into a crowd on the street outside a hotel. A few minutes later Bono came out and went around signing autographs and getting pictures taken. When he was close I mustered up my loud voice and said "Thank you Bono!" He casually replied with "No problem." The Kingdaddy can verify that Bono and I had a conversation, though brief. I am forever changed.
We also saw Mike Piazza and his wife a few minutes before. That is another story.
